365 Lil' Guy Portraits: Day 102

Introducing today's "lil' guy."

Clevaughn

He would improve himself.
But he's already perfect.

My 365 Project Details:
 - Draw a "lil' guy" every day for the next year.
 - Color them when I can.  Ink and travel don't mix well.
 - Write something about each "lil' guy," but not too much.

Scott Krichau, sculptor, resides in Albuquerque, NM with fellow artist, +Carolyn Curtis and their 3 legged dog named Pabst.  Scott uses steel and paper to create his "lil' guys."  Documenting their continual evolution and trying to understand the idiodyssey they are on.

Clevaughn is a great friend of my brother. About a month ago we were all playing a round of golf. Clevaughn was just about to chip onto the green when we saw a long funeral procession on the road next to the course. He stopped in mid-swing, took off his golf cap, closed his eyes, and bowed down in prayer.

I said to him “Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You truly are a kind man.”

To which Clevaughn replied: “Yeah, well we were married 35 years.”

Kind regards.
