Shadows make them real

Sculpture and shadows go hand in hand.  I always love how a shadow transforms the landscape.  Shadows prove the existence of an object in the land that surrounds it.  

Shots from the park up the hill.  Really wish they could take down the fence for a couple shots.

I tried placing them on some grass, but the color and feel of the trees was wrong.  I don't mind the dirt/rock placement and the grass in the background looks much better.  "Urban Trees" and real grass may never meet again.
